About the role

The Associate Manager plays a key role in supporting the department by coordinating daily operations, managing resources, monitoring performance, and implementing business initiatives. The position works closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, operational goals are achieved, and organizational policies are followed. Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead day-to-day operational activities.
  • Monitor team performance and ensure productivity targets are achieved.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members.
  • Allocate work effectively and manage priorities.
  • Prepare operational reports and performance metrics.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Resolve operational issues and customer escalations professionally.
  • Participate in planning, budgeting, and departmental initiatives.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations.

Requirements

  • Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Human Resources, Finance, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
  • Experience
  • 3–6 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
  • Experience in managing projects or operational teams is desirable.
  • Technical Skills
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • ERP or business management systems experience is an advantage
  • Data analysis and reporting skills
  • Familiarity with business KPIs and operational reporting
